Why do I want one of these?

If your modem / router is located near the the master NTE5 socket and the rest of the sockets in the property are only to be connected to telephones, then it will save plugging individual ADSL filters in each extension socket.

Please be aware that if a modem / router is plugged into any of the sockets that are connected to the filtered rear connection, they will not work.
